Nyu Consortium Agreement

To participate in the consortium courses, you will need the approval of your department/program director and the interuniversity doctoral consortium registration form. If you are a NYU student studying at a foreign university that is not directly affiliated with NYU, you must complete and sign a consortium agreement that will ensure that your NYU financial aid payments go to the host university. Fill out the registration form for the interuniversity doctoral consortium Fill in all areas of the form in a clear and legible way to receive accurate registration and grade reports. Make sure you have provided your email address, including zip code, as well as a phone number and email address where we can reach you in addition to any information about the NYU course. All courses with a course number ending in –GA or –GE can be taken through UNCITRAL. Cinema Studies, CINE-GT and Performance Studies, PERF-GT courses are also eligible. No other NYU courses are offered for registration at IUDC. NYU does not accept registrations for audit or “R-Credit" status. Couses offered or dispensed in the January or summer semester are also not eligible to participate, regardless of the course number. Receive signatures only in the following order (signatures are not given in the wrong order): Chair of the home school department, Director of Graduate Studies or Dean Advisor of Home School/UNCID Instructor NYU Course Instructor NYU Coordinator Do not bring your form to the UNCID Coordinator of New York University until you have received the first 3 signatures. NYU accepts an email from the instructor that gives explicit permission to join the class instead of a physical signature.

The other two permissions must be physical signatures. The instructor`s permission to participate in a course is not a guaranteed enrollment in the course. Visiting students may be refused registration or placed on a waiting list if the course is closed. You will be contacted in case of registration problems. NyU takes two to three days to process your registration and registration. You can submit your form at any time, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m a.m to 5 p.m. .m.m. at our office located at 6 Washington Square Park North, Room 222. Once we are done with the form, you need to pick it up. We attach important information to your form that we want to be sure you have seen. Due to FERPA regulations, you are only allowed to take your own form and not that of a classmate or friend.

Your completed IUDC form will be accompanied by information about receiving a NYU ID card, which in turn will give you access to NYUHome and the NYUClasses system. All registrations at NYU must be completed within the first three weeks of the course. If you need to cancel your IUDC course, please contact the UNCI Coordinator at New York University if you are still in the first two weeks of the semester, or visit the GSAS Graduate Enrollment Services office on 5th Avenue after the start of the third week of the semester. You can only cancel your course within the first nine weeks of the semester. After that, you will receive a note. We will send your grade to your home school approximately three weeks after the end of the semester in which you took your course. If you have not received a grade at NYU at that time, please contact the NYU UNCI Coordinator if your grade has been published in our Albert System and they will send your transcript to your home school. At NYU, any incompleteness must be resolved up to one year from the beginning of the semester in which you completed the course. If you require a new renewal of your incomplete article, please contact the UNCI Coordinator at New York University for instructions. If you have any further questions, please contact the consortium office of the home or host school. Enroll in both schools: At NYU – If you are a GSAS student, enroll Albert in a section of the GSAS consortium`s mock course, GSAS-GA 2000, for each course you take through IUDC during the semester.

Make sure you register for exactly the same number of points as the host school`s course. If you are a Steinhardt student, your registration desk will enroll you in Steinhardt`s “Dummy" IUDC course. Steinhardt students must also have completed and signed a Steinhardt internal approval form to take courses through UNCITRAL. At the host school – Provide a copy of the form to the HOST SCHOOL`s UNCI Coordinator after collecting the other three signatures. It is your responsibility to inform yourself about the registration procedures specific to the host institution. The completed registration form can be returned to the UNCI Coordinator at New York University. If you don`t want to do this, be sure to keep a copy for your records until your note is published in NYU. All registrations at NYU must be completed within the first 3 weeks of tuition for the semester.

Tuition is only charged and paid to NYU. If you have a MacCracken scholarship, your tuition will be covered for your IUDC course. Additional fees may be charged by host institutions for laboratory fees, if applicable. If you need to cancel your IUDC course, be sure to cancel both the consortium`s “dummy" course at NYU and the actual course at the host school. Member schools send each other the final grades about three weeks after the end of each semester. If you have completed your course and your grade has been published at the host school at that time, you don`t have to do anything else to receive your grade at NYU. If you have not completed your course or your grade has not been published at the time of the exchange of notes, it is your responsibility to take action that will bring your grade to NYU. .
